ff?

Perhaps, you feel a constant pressure to be everything and perfect for family members or friends or your career, constantly comparing yourself to those around you or on social media – never quite able to live up to impossible standards of what it looks like and means to be a good mother, partner, or successful woman?

When worry and stress become constant, losing sleep at night, obsessively replaying experiences, or fear takes over, therapy is proven to help relieve these symptoms of anxiety. I will help you to uncover the underlying root causes of your anxiety, provide proven therapeutic modalities to permanently heal and address chronic anxiety, and provide effective tools to combat worry, fear, panic, and strengthen coping tools and resilience. Relaxation, joy, and freedom on the other side of the pain.

Common symptoms of anxiety include:

  • Nervousness, restlessness or being tense

  • Feelings of danger, panic, or dread

  • Rapid breathing or hyperventilation

  • Increased or heavy sweating

  • Trembling or muscle twitching

  • Weakness or lethargy

  • Difficulty focusing or thinking clearly

  • Insomnia

  • OCD - Obsessions about certain ideas

  • Anxiety surrounding a particular life event or experience that has occurred in the past - PTSD

Learn to recognize and develop the ability to notice your anxiety – since if you cannot notice or feel into or see that your anxiety is something that is happening to your mind and body, then you will continue to push past, numb out, or ignore it which leads to the never-ending rollercoaster of no change or growth. I teach clients to intentionally identify and acknowledge feelings and provide framework to allow for intentional choice to see, and willingness to witness the feeling and experience.

Together, clients and I get curious about the feelings, triggers, how long has it been around – build an intimate, compassionate relationship with your symptoms, thoughts, feelings, and sensations.  Where does this anxiety live somatically within you, what do you need to feel heard, seen, and validated?
